This ep had almost movie like animation in many spots. They really captured the feeling of dealing with a fast aggressive insect really well

Ruli is the badass asset of the team without a doubt.

A rookie Morphomon trying to send an SOS signal after getting captured by a human but her fear wound up turning her SOS signal to all digimon into a hostile parasitic outbreak. They are using any new and old Digimon they have at their disposal and I am liking it.

What's interesting this episode is how they got help from Mummymon to uncover the supposed source of the outbreak whose been working at Toei University Hospital (nice one Toei). Old Digimon who are still sticking around continues to be relevant showing this series does have continuity.

Morphomon is a new digimon or from which gen is she?

She came from the final movie of the original Digimon Adventure series Last Evolution Kizuna and was the antagonist of that movie. But yes by all means she is a new a relatively new Digimon that debuted around two years ago. So I guess Morphomon is a gen 7 digimon if we talking post Xros Wars.

how much you want to bet we're going to see that researcher again?

I hope that becomes a new plot point in the future.

I really hopw she becomes a recurring character going on that tries to find more digimon after she met clockmon and morphomon
HOPEFULLY she also becomes a tamer (like the pseudo tamer of yatagaramon / crowmon)

WTF!? the animation and drawing is fluid all through the episode! don't blow your budget this early TOEI we know how shitty your budget management is.

it probably has to do with production being stopped after they were hacked and lost eerything so the animators had more time for polish give it a week and we will be back to normal

It looks like the artists or the director found a style that can match both a sakuga style and the budget style. When the episode needs to look at its best it can blend in when they need to cut corners.

It is what is it, but you cannot deny that this show had episodes with amazing animation, I'm hopeful that it will kinda become the norm for upcoming episodes... but probably will save it whenever something huge happens, like when Gulus was introduced.

LOL shooting down a satellite was awwsome, but don't tell me that human aren't gonna find out why they missing there own in space. I'm sure the goverment gonna find out sooner.

A satellite that shuts down is literal garbage, that happens a lot IRL and you would be surprised how much junk satellites are orbiting around Earth, but yeah... it will be interesting to see the possibilities of humans investigating why that satellite blew up.

The Kizuna movie really didn't give full potential to Morphomon. It really would be scary when it needs to be. This show really gives the utmost capabilities for each monster compared to the other series.

So in Last Evolution Morphomon drove its partner to become a bad researcher, and now it is captured by a wannabe researcher. Coincidence much?

23 episode and they are still going great, thought Ruli was gonna play her piano audio, since Angoramon might be able to snap out of it but that ain’t realistic I realize, Clockmon and Mummymon are so good in this, I love it, finally saw Wezen’s big attack after being interrupted before, But Jesus Christ, Albion might be Gammamon strongest attack in adult/champion form, never underestimate the tank

Love the kids, love the partners, love the side-digimons, hate that research, love this episode

I say don't hate the researcher so much, what happened was an accident, but... as we all know, human curiosity can be extremely dangerous.

I just realized, but is this the first Digimon MC without goggles? Haven't watched the past two or so seasons, so not 100% sure on that, but I'm pretty sure they had em too.

The guy from the fifth season (forgot the name) also didn't wear goggles.

Kinda wished that when Hiro managed to turn Gammamon back to normal, at least he reacted by hugging him, saying he is glad Gammamon is back to normal, possibly with Gammamon saying something like "My tongue hurts"

Or at least someone asking Hiro how is Gammamon back to normal. Just a quick dialogue and they can focus on how the red scales would fill the sky quickly so fast the way to cure them won't work anymore

This episode was really good and scary, also important, because just as Digimons mess with humans, Humans can also mess with Digimons like what happened to Morphomon... that opens the way to many possibilities to be honest.

I feel bad for that researcher, but Human curiosity can be as dangerous as evil Digimons.
